Hello – Welcome to my website! My LinkedIn profile will tell you all the places I’ve worked, my roles, and what I accomplished. Here’s a more detailed (and entertaining) overview:
Who
I started my career as a Topographic Engineer in the U.S. Army, where I shoveled snow, shot some big-time weapons, and learned a few handy graphic art skills.
But what I really wanted to do was write!
I briefly worked in printing and then as a production artist at a health and wellness company. From there, I became the Marketing Copywriter at BowTie Publishing, creating content for pet and lifestyle publications, such as Cat Fancy, Reptiles, Urban Gardens, and Cigar & Spirits magazines (to name a few). I also worked in their book publishing department.
I proudly went on to work as the Marketing Communications Manager at ActivePDF, an enterprise server-side PDF software company, where I managed all marketing, internal marketing, sales enablement, sponsorships, and events.
After ActivePDF was acquired in 2020, I hung out awhile with the acquisition company, then left to pursue a position at an animated explainer video company as their Marketing Lead and Creative Director.
In my spare time, I work on the podcast I founded called Women’s World Football Show. It has become the longest-running international women’s soccer podcast in the world, with a world-wide audience, and a few awards to its name. I’m super proud of this little podcast and the hundreds of prominent guests we’ve interviewed over the years.
What
I bring a variety of skill sets to the brands I work for, including over 20 years of marketing experience with specialties in content creation, SEO strategies, brand awareness, email automation, web content, lead generation (organic and paid), social media marketing, and more.
Where
Born and raised in Southern California, I’ve always stayed close to home. However, I’ve worked remotely for companies throughout the world, including Canada, India, China, Taiwan, and Australia.
